Alex Tsakiris is back after many years and we have a great
chat about his latest book and research into the new ai models "Why
AI? Is Smartest.... Is Dangerous.... Is Divine.
We chat about the difference now with these ai platforms,
Large Language Models, machine learning, the turning point during
chess, voice production, some recent funding of billions to
Inflection for example, and will there be a race to the
truthiest.
What are some prompting techniques? Was it trying to deceive
Alex on purpose? Why does it keep lying? What are the layers of
programming here? How are they shadow banning already and why are
some things off topic? How are they actually trying to hold up and
prop the current paradigm? What is 'Conspiracy First'
thinking?
We also cover bias, misinfo, bugs, placation, manipulation,
weird human expressions, wokeness, spirituality, the goals of
transparency and truth, the differences between them and if this
will end up being different than we all expect. Is he positive
about these developments and what are his predictions for the
